Live acoustic music sessions are now a vital part of the King George V. They took a while to get off the ground but are now an eagerly awaited monthly event.

 

They start around eight o'clock on the last Sunday of the month and continue until closing time.

 

Guitarist singer Del Delorne is the backbone of the evening and is often joined by members of his extended family and friends. Our regular pianist Andy Beatson is also now a regular.

 

As well as guitar, piano and snare drum with brushes, other instruments have included banjo, mandelin, harmonica, squeeze box, fiddle, violin and saxaphone.
